Harnessing the power of design and evaluation to build stronger and more equitable communities.
Bumblebee Design and Evaluation is a Southeastern Michigan-based program design and evaluation practice. We specialize in culturally responsive and equitable evaluation approaches and the use of qualitative and arts-based approaches. We partner with nonprofits and philanthropic organizations on program and initiative design, evaluation, strategic planning, and evaluation capacity-building.
Bumblebee Design and Evaluation sits on the land of the Meshwahki asahina (Fox), the Peoria, the Anishinabewaki, the Bodewadmiakiwen (Potawatomi), and the Miami Nations. More information can be found at this working Google Doc.

Some of Our More Popular Services
Bumblebee Design and Evaluation adopts principles of two approaches to evaluation, culturally responsive and equitable evaluation (CREE). Culturally responsive evaluation aims to design and implement evaluations that are culturally valid and reflective of the communities being served by evaluation. Equitable evaluation seeks to make the promotion of social equity central to the evaluation process.
